Beata Szajna

A graduate of the Piotr Michałowski State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Rzeszów and the Faculty of Art at the University of Rzeszów. She received her Master of Arts diploma with honours in the Drawing studio under the supervision of Professor Dorota Jajko-Sankowska. She has been associated with the Krosno glassworks for 20 years.

Her original collections and custom-made projects decorate the interiors of customers in Poland and abroad, as the fruits of her work can be found at a number of domestic and international exhibitions.

She is the recipient of numerous distinctions and awards: Laur Konsumenta (Consumer’s Laurel) 2011 distinction for her set of vases and bowls with a horizontal optic, Złote Ville 2014 award for her Moly art glass set, or Dobry Design 2015 distinction for her Vinoteca carafe.

The Samara vase designed by her became a key distinguishing feature of KROSNO’s artistic heritage as one of the most popular and most sold products in the first decade of the 21st century.
