Care guidelines for glasswareEvery order is packed with care. We know how much it matters that glass reaches your home intact, and as a manufacturer with years of experience in making and shipping glassware, we have developed packing standards that protect each piece in transit.
Before dispatch, every item passes quality control, then our warehouse team picks and protects it. Products are positioned so they cannot move or knock against anything else in the parcel. Depending on what a piece needs, protection can run to several layers: dividers, protective filling and a rigid outer carton.
Larger orders get additional protection and travel on pallets.
We work only with courier firms we trust, and every shipment is insured. You can order glass online without worrying about how it will arrive.
If a piece is damaged in transit despite all this, report it within 7 days of delivery. We replace or resend damaged products at our own cost.
Delivery
Orders placed before 2 pm are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed later are usually processed the next working day.
Delivery within Poland normally takes 1–2 working days from dispatch. In some cases it can extend to 5 working days. If a particular product has a different lead time, it is shown on the product page.
Safe packing for glass
As a glassmaker with years of experience, we take the safety of every shipment seriously. Each product passes quality control, then our warehouse team protects it for transit. Items are packed so they cannot shift on the way, and larger orders travel on pallets.

The Gemstone collection brings timeless elegance together with the mastery of glassmaking in Poland. KROSNO has kept that tradition since 1923, making glass that turns everyday moments into rituals and celebrates fine detail. This is a story about artistry, harmony and design drawn from the classics of past decades....
KROSNO has been making glass since 1923, and the knowledge has passed down through generations. We stand for European craft, heritage and quiet luxury. Every piece is made in Poland by skilled hands, and it shows — in the clarity, in the durability, in the shine.
The story of the brand is one of glass, craft and steady development, running without a break since 1923. That was the year work began on the first glassworks in Krosno — a place that came to define the region and to stand for Polish glassware around the world. Within a few years the brand was winning its first awards for quality and design.
The Second World War brought hard years and the works were destroyed, but the furnaces were relit soon after. The decades that followed brought rapid growth, modernised production and expansion abroad. Glass from Krosno reached Polish homes, and also the tables of the British royal family and the imperial court of Japan.
The 1990s opened a new chapter: privatisation, a debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and the building of a strong group. Today a long tradition sits alongside a modern approach to design and manufacturing, and the brand remains a byword for quality, elegance and Polish craft valued worldwide.
Handmade glass is where tradition, craft and lasting design meet — the foundation Krosno Glass has been built on for years. Every piece takes shape through the precision and commitment of master glassmakers whose experience and talent give the glass its character. It is people and their skill that keep handmade work a mark of authenticity and of the highest quality.
Forming glass by hand allows shapes and details that machine production cannot reach. Every piece carries individual traits that underline how singular it is. Clarity, a perfect shine and the remarkable lightness of fine-walled pieces are why handmade glass is valued by the most demanding customers and specialists worldwide.
Behind every handmade piece stands a story built over generations. More than a century of experience, work alongside artists and designers, and the care taken over traditional glassmaking techniques mean our pieces are not only useful objects but small works of art. This is handmade work that lends a shine to ordinary moments and marks the ones that matter.
Design at Krosno Glass brings together the experience, imagination and enthusiasm of people who have been making sought-after collections for years. Every project begins with an idea, then moves through detailed pattern development, ergonomic testing and close quality selection. What comes out are pieces that satisfy on looks, on function and on how they feel in use.
Behind the collections stand talented designers, many of whom have been with the brand for twenty or thirty years. Their knowledge, feel for form and understanding of how glass behaves let them create lasting designs that answer contemporary taste and real needs. It is people who give every project its own identity.
Many of our designs have been recognised at home and abroad. Selected collections are protected by the Polish Patent Office as original decorative designs, and our work has been honoured repeatedly at industry events including Frankfurt Messe and the ART GALLERY exhibition in Worcester, USA. Proof that design, quality and craft can amount to one thing.
Krosno Glass today is a modern company that joins a long history of craft with current technology, producing premium glass valued in homes and in professional kitchens around the world. For generations the brand has carried the Polish glassmaking tradition forward, making pieces that combine elegant design, function and a high standard of finish.
The company invests continuously in machine production and in modern glass-forming technology. The aim is greater precision, quality and output from the machines that make stemware and tumblers. Behind those advanced processes stand experienced specialists, glassmakers and designers who watch every detail of a new collection.
Rigorous quality testing, modern laboratories and international standards and certificates confirm the standard of the products. By joining traditional skill with an appetite for innovation, Krosno Glass remains one of the most recognisable Polish glassware brands — present in homes, in restaurants, and on tables that matter, worldwide.
The GEMSTONE PREMIUM collection is a unique combination of modern design with hand-formed glass. Subtle colour details give the products from this series a unique character that harmoniously complements their form without overpowering it.
Orders placed before 2 pm are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed later go out the next working day. Delivery within Poland usually takes 1–2 working days, unless a different lead time is shown on the product page.
As a manufacturer with years of experience in making and shipping glass, parcel safety is a priority for us. Every shipment passes through several stages of protection — from product quality control, through careful picking and packing, to safe transport with trusted courier companies. Products are positioned and secured inside the packaging so they cannot move during delivery, and every shipment is insured. If damage does occur in transit despite these standards, you have 7 days to report it, and we send replacements as quickly as possible — at our cost.
To keep your glass clear, bright and looking its best for years, start with the care guidelines available at this link. Before first use, wash the piece in lukewarm water with a mild detergent and dry it with a soft cloth. In daily use, avoid sudden changes in temperature — do not heat the glass above 60°C, do not cool it rapidly, and do not expose it to temperature differences greater than 35°C. Do not use the product in microwaves, ovens or freezers. If a piece is dishwasher safe, choose a glassware programme, use mild detergents and rinse aid, and load items so they do not touch. Once the cycle ends, take the glass out and let it dry naturally. Larger pieces such as decanters, vases and cake stands are best washed by hand.
Not all products are dishwasher safe. You will always find this information on the product page or on the packaging — the relevant marking shows whether a piece is suitable for automatic dishwashers. In most cases, undecorated glassware can go in the dishwasher.
You can return an order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To withdraw from the contract, email us at info@krosno.com or write to the seller's address — no special form is required. Once you have notified us, return the product within 14 days, packed well enough to survive the journey. The cost of return postage is yours unless the applicable regulations state otherwise.
Handmade glass means exceptional pieces created by experienced master glassmakers who have carried the craft forward for generations. Every product takes shape with a large share of human work — from forming to the finishing touches that give it its final character. That is why handmade glass stands out for its individuality, attention to detail and one-of-a-kind look. This method gives every piece its own character and particular value, while keeping remarkable consistency. Machine production, in turn, relies on advanced glass-forming technology that delivers high precision, repeatability and output using top-class machinery. Krosno Glass uses Blow-Blow technology, which produces elegant pieces of consistent quality. All Krosno Glass products are also made from the finest premium-grade lead-free crystal glass, which stays perfectly clear and resists clouding.
